My 81-year-old aunt Gail sent me this segment. I wish a trans kid (now young woman) could say more than “I’m proud to be trans and I’m not just trans, I’m also a regular person” but I’m genuinely grateful when someone like Kelly Clarkson highlights trans people with such care.

I promise our six year old will find a way to get through that roll in a week. Maybe an hour.
Everybody loves to dunk on toilet paper roll math, but seriously- what the fuck are we even doing.

psh 50 year mortgages are a half measure; real ones want 100 year mortgages that burden all the debtor's genetic descendants and let investors build actual castles off all the interest they'll collect for their outlay
QUINTANILLA: What's more likely -- a $2,000 tariff rebate check or a 50 year mortgage?

HASSETT: They're both really good ideas

We programmed a robot to sound like your friend with the soul of a poet and just one semester of college because it “wasn’t for him,” and drunk, and he loves you, and he wants you to die.
This conversation between ChatGPT and the young man it encouraged to commit suicide is just...my god

I think a lot about the story Carl Reiner told: he’d have been a sewing machine repairman if not for a free WPA drama class. That led to other theater work, to Sid Caesar, to Mel Brooks, and all the rest. All because of one free class paid for by a government that felt the arts were worth teaching.
you ever think about the works progress administration? I sure do. I wish that was a thing now. I would be so glad to contribute my labor to like. A random ass local bridge

this was for a colorado measure guaranteeing universal free lunch for kids. funny how a short two-column table can say so much in so little space.
This is how it looked on the ballot.
Clear and easy to understand.

Everyone should pay careful attention to the Maine voter ID ballot measure (Prop 1). It is on track to lose -- thereby proving that the GOP claims that voter ID laws are overwhelmingly popular is a lie. Perhaps now the legacy media will stop repeating that nonsense.

Tonight's even more proof the mainstream reporters who are still on Twitter are suffering from a brain problem akin Havana Syndrome that is preventing them from accurately doing their jobs. They are being cooked alive by a snuff-focused apartheid algorithm.
