Pinned
This other man I had dreamed
A drunken, vainglorious lout.
He had done most bitter wrong
To some who are near my heart,
Yet I number him in the song;
He, too, has resigned his part
In the casual comedy;
He, too, has been changed in his turn,
Transformed utterly:
A terrible beauty is born.
Which lines of poetry live rent-free in your head?

Masterful
Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

Our estranged father died. Neighbour witnessed his will and told me it was in his bedside drawer. The utter spangle was leaving everything to the dogs home after never paying maintenance. Chucked it in my incinerator. His estate is going to probate. Zero regrets.

DOT wants to prohibit free buses. That could be a problem for Mamdani in NYC.
A proposal from the Trump administration would restrict federal funding for cities that don't charge fares.

I have confirmed the gist of this report out of federal court in Minnesota today from a source familiar.

If you have more information about the District of Minnesota—either the court or the U.S. Attorney's Office—and how they are handling all of this, please reach out. I am at crg.32 on Signal.

Good stuff, from U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes 👉
Whoa! That ruling will go down in history as the biggest lecture ever given a cabinet secretary by a sitting federal judge. Excluding judge Sirica perhaps!

6 days until pitchers and catchers report. All time leader in relief innings pitched Kent Tekulve is seen here doing something to his elbow that’s not recommended.

Co-sign. Aaron @atrupar.com is a great follow if you want to keep up with the latest news from Trumplandia
Nothing brings you closer to the truth about Trump than watching him live & on video. Print coverage has never captured the reality that we see everyday via @atrupar.com's diligent clipping. I honestly don't know how Aaron does it but I'm sure glad he does. My head would have exploded by now...
I got to chat with Aaron Rupar about his publication, his video clipping, and what it takes to document American politics in real time for the millions of people trying to keep up with the nonstop flood of news. One of the nicest guys in media. 👇🏼
