Morrison’s “All Star Superman” is always cited as one of the best Superman stories (rightfully so) but @manruss.bsky.social & @allredmd.bsky.social ‘s “Superman: Space Age” is an absolute all-time great. Read it if you haven’t.

I feel like an under-appreciated sub-genre of film is "people near world events". Movies, not about the events themselves, but the regular lives of people preparing for them or dealing with them. Some really memorable examples of this: 🧵

Lost in the hoopla over the Super Bowl halftime show(s) is the fact that Bad Bunny is the biggest star on the planet that most Americans know nothing about and the NFL is the biggest American sport that the rest of the world does not watch. So Bad Bunny doing halftime was a brilliant move for both.
