Trump says this December 26 in an interview with John Catsimatidis that the US destroyed a drug trafficking plant in Venezuela on Christmas Eve.

“They have a big plant. A building from where the boats leave. Two nights ago we hit them hard.”

I think losing your voting rights is a pretty mild punishment for refusing to defend your homeland and kin against a barbaric invasion.
Zelensky's advisor Podolyak suggests that draft-dodgers may lose their voting rights.

As always, draft-dodgers are disproportionately people who can't afford to bribe their way out of conscription. More class war against the poor.

Being married is like losing at a board game you don’t even know you’re playing.
As a man who has had women shout at me for things I did in a dream, I can’t help but think that ‘WHERE IS MY HUSBAND?” is the most huffy girl record ever. In it, RAYE is shouting at a man who doesn’t know he is the subject of the song for doing something he doesn’t know he is supposed to have done.

It was a Sunday tradition. Catholic Mass at St Seamus the Distiller, a medium regular at Dunks, then riding the T and jacking it all day. Now the woke mob wants to take it all away

This has not changed since the legions. An average Roman infantrymen marched approximately 20 miles per day, carrying 60-80 pounds of arms, equipment and supplies, and was expected to construct a fortification at the end of each day.
Most important skills for an infantry unit:

1. Cardio
2. Ability to be mindlessly bored and miserable for months or years at a time.
3. Digging.
4. Ability to carry back breaking weight for infinite miles
5. Weapons skills are basically last. Important but not as important as the others.
The infantry also found that a recent exercise broke their collective stamina badly, led to articulable cognitive faults, so they’re going back to long runs / marches and improved cardio training.

Sorry, Internet Experts on War, you can’t hide from fatigue. It’ll kill you as sure as a 82mm mortar.

- summon a minor fire demon and bind it in a locket
- wander the trackless moors and howl into the Void to stay warm
- embrace the cold darkness

i am not going to pretend there’s a debate about what heritage american means. there is not. the debate over whether there’s a debate is a means of infiltration and normalization. if we are going to debate this then we must also debate if 2 and 2 make 5. it’s no less obviously stupid and malignant.

Years ago, I was hunting in middle of nowhere Arizona borderlands. I got up at 2am to take a leak, and when I got up out of my tent, I felt like I stepped into the universe.
One of my very few woo woo beliefs is that humans need to be able to see the night sky at least periodically to function properly and my evidence is that if I don’t go somewhere with dark skies at least every 4 months, I get really irritable and sad.
If you ever have the experience of seeing a night sky out in the deep countryside you can understand this; it really is a fundamentally different experience, and I can't imagine it not being formative to people.

I was lucky enough to have an opportunity to work in the middle of nowhere in the Mojave desert a few years ago, and at 3 o'clock in the morning and bitterly cold, if you take the time to look up the sky will stop you in your tracks. It's just stunning.

Spend the money for a good safety razor. Blades are cheap and give a better shave than a cartridge razor. Also, buy the good shave soap.

Mid-tier liquor makes a vastly better cocktail than budget garbage.

Buy nice candles. Light them once in a while.
