Anyway I have a goal of getting, at some point in my life, very very high and eating a charcuterie board the size of a pool table
legalize weed, regulate and tax the hell out of it
I don't know anything about politics (if that wasn't already abundantly clear) but this feels like a real winner to me tbh

If the state of things has you in your feelings, this is a really good emo flavored pop punk song to scream/sing along to. From what I've been told, anyway.

There's an old adage that "everyone gets cut in a knife fight," (the implication being you should avoid knife fights) so if you get into a knife fight, expect it to hurt. You might even bleed out. So you better do everything you can to hurt the other guy more.
Apropos of nothing in particular.

The trolley problem, with Senate Dems + govvies in the trolley and SNAP + ACA subsidy beneficiaries tied to the tracks. Senate Dems are going to pull the lever and realize to their horror that Mike Johnson has cut all the wires, consigning thousands to die anyway

How is moral fiber so fucking lacking in this country? Do we have values, or do we not? Do we have the rule of law, or do we not?
Fight, god damn it. Fight!

THIS IS JUST PAYING MONEY TO HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES WITH EXTRA STEPS YOU STUPID ASSHOLES
"A development that appeared to break the logjam: Republicans proposed that healthcare funding be provided directly to households rather than used to pay for a 1-year extension of ACA subsidies. That involves sending federal money into FSAs instead of insurance companies" www.wsj.com/politics/pol...
Republicans Pitch Alternative to ACA Extension to End Government Shutdown
A proposal by GOP senators to send money directly to consumers’ health accounts rather than to insurance companies showed signs of breaking a stalemate on negotiations.

Trump’s suggestion of military action in Nigeria met reality with AFRICOM, which expressed doubts that a military response to violence would do anything.

This shit would get you skull fucked by any competent NCO. Right to the wood line, no hesitation

This guy was an 88M, if I am not mistaken. But I'm sure the Vikings needed someone to repair the long boats too
Wife left years ago. Said I never had time for diapers, soccer practice, or sex. She was right—I was busy honing my martial virtue in the garage, barefoot, sweating under a dying bulb. She wanted warmth. I wanted discipline. The callouses. The heaving breath. The sound of the boots hitting asphalt.

Do you guys ever think about how the guy who is two heartbeats away from becoming President of the United States of America has "no jerking off" accountability pact with his own son?

We stopped paying civilians a while ago, and now we are out of money to pay the military. Contractors are mostly getting paid, but good luck if your PoP ends any time soon. Not many new contracts are being funded, if any. The working capital fund(s) won't last forever.
And this is all a choice!
