If you support the Trump regime, we cannot be friends.

Unless and until you renounce your support and rebuke Trump and his acolytes, you are dead to me.
I swear, centrists and “moderates” will be the death of our republic.

Another Alice classic, from Archer Mag; one of her most in intimate pieces and one I revisit often as I think about relationships to the body and how disabled people are medicalized and desexualised.

'I was a sexy beast that enjoyed myself thoroughly on my own terms.'
Disability, pleasure and ageing: The pleasure principle - Archer Magazine
Disabled pleasure knows no bounds, bringing an intimacy that goes beyond romantic love, genitals or penetrative sex.

Alice's words and voice are everywhere. In her books, essays, articles, interviews, and media appearance. You don't have to go far to find them, and they will transport you to worlds beyond your imagining.

It's a high time for the direct market, but non-licensed comics — i.e. creator-owned + other original comics — are going through a "wildly unpredictable" period.

In this week's feature, I talked to creators about navigating this uncertain time, what's fueling it, and how it's affecting their plans.
“It's Wildly Unpredictable”: Creators on Navigating an Uncertain Time for Non-Licensed Comics - SKTCHD
It’s a great time for the direct market. 1 Comic shops are thriving, new readers are getting onboard, and veteran fans are excited as well. More than that, the comics themselves are good, which genera...

As a kid, I learned I could be "too much" - too talkative, too quiet, too sensitive, too slow, too excited, etc. It helped that I liked solitude and could keep myself occupied. Becoming disabled at 20, I learned I could be "too much" and "not enough," in addition to the "too much" I already was. 😀

These 8 Senators sold us out to Trump:
Hassan
King
Cortez-Masto
Shaheen
Kaine
Fetterman
Durbin
Rosen

Understand This Fact: Chuck Schumer is behind this. None of these 8 are up for reelection in 2026. Schumer asked them vote yes—they agreed. He's such a coward that he folded and won't even own it.

Millions of Americans have been struggling for weeks because of the government shut down, all for nothing, thanks to “moderate“ Dems caving to the GOP fascists, and the failed “leadership“ of Chuck Schumer. Moderates and centrists enable the destruction of our democratic constitutional republic.

Part of the reason I think there isn’t as much pressure around stopping ChatGPT re: suicide/psychosis as compared to stuff like Panera Lemonade is because people are inclined to blame it on mental illness versus the tech, a kind of victim-blaming mentality that fits neatly into just world fallacy

I’m not a violent person — last fist fight was in 6th grade — but I feel like if I hadn’t become disabled at 20, I might be in jail today for knocking some ICE heads together.

I’m not saying we all need to get violent, but we need people to at least flip some damn tables.

Our military is being paid by an anonymous donor.

Our WH East Wing was demolished for a ballroom - paid for by donors.

These aren’t acts of benevolence or patriotism.

This is the oligarchy assuming control, insidiously becoming part of how we function.

Every American should reject it.
