A child starving herself to death because of the investigation

Parents told Sussex ICB that a child is “starving herself to death” because of the investigation, fearing forced detransition. Her Mum asked who would take responsibility if she died. No ICB member answered.

TERF or not, no one deserves to go through this and the fact that the LGB Alliance is (allegedly) protecting a male sexual predator and attacking his female victim

I don't think we need more proof that TERFs don't care about "protecting women and girls" but this is too clear of an example

I'm sure 'free speech' advocates will be along soon to howl in anguish about the cancellation of this story.

Any second now...
This piece was greenlit and then killed by a British newspaper, so I’ve decided to publish myself instead.

bbc leadership banned their employees from attending pride a few years ago.

i don't know how that works in practice but it was around the same time they dumped stonewall.

the obvious anti-lgbt+ bias at the bbc has gone ignored for years now. they're a disgusting organisation.
Yet another reason to treat them appropriately if any of them show up at pride...

What’s laughable is SM’s 7,893 signatures. I’ve just checked the Not In Our Name website and they’re already up to 65,208!

"frank and honest" involves calling a 17 year old child a paedo and a "sissy porn addicted gooner" in court apparently
Briony Clarke now identify as a bent judge.

“she found Graham Linehan was a ‘generally credible witness’ and appeared to be ‘genuinely frank and honest’.”
They keep fucking editing the article, but it's not any better. And this addition about why the judge referred to her as "them" is like a parody of impartiality

On Trans Day of Remembrance, every year, I think about how close I came to not making it. I think about how a small, hateful, loud, and well-funded group caused me to believe I’d rather die than come out as transgender. (Thread)

Trans people no longer have a guarantee of minimal respect and decency from a judge if we're the victim of crime. Genuinely shocked by the decision to do this in the judgement. What is the point of even trying to seek justice in this environment?

What gets me about both the reporting and the judge's language is that even supposing "gender ideology" is some sort of religious belief, you would be more respectful of someone's religious belief than this. "..born Robert Prevost but now identifying as 'Pope Leo'".

The thing about the Linehan case is that either the Judge is sympathetic to 'gender critical' ideology or British law thinks it's perfectly acceptable for a 57 year old man to stalk, doxx and physically attack a 17 year old girl.

Both explanations are horrifying.

I also contacted Helen Joyce, Jo Bartosch and Julie Bindel with this information to try and establish that she really was 17 and Graham needed to stop trying to get his half a million followers to track her down.

Bindel ignored me, Joyce and Bartosch blocked me.

Fun fact I couldn't mention until now: At the time Graham Linehan was harassing Sophia Brooks online, I was contacted by her former teachers and School Safeguarding Team to get her latest contact details, as they were worried sick about her being publicly stalked by an abusive alcoholic celebrity.

I remember the last cross-examination question was about whether Sophia had been arrested. It wasn’t revealed at the time it was literally the convicted bigot who SWATTED her.
Here's a thread from Twitter shared with Sophia's permission in which she finally is able to talk about Graham using the police as HIS personal goon squad and getting Sophia arrested at home by EIGHT armed police officers, somewhat putting the standard Heathrow armed cops in perspective.

I was once sceptical about the value of juries but I've learned through the trans work how shabbily our institutions treat those without privilege and fear their passing.

Like the Supreme Court's judicial roll back of human rights, this change to our justice system will hit the weakest hardest.
