I will NOT have my life defined by people’s hate; not by the government, not by the NHS, and DEFINITELY not by the courts or the EHRC.

Bucket list:
1. Move to a beach.
2. Have no regrets.
3. Drive a Land Rover. ✅
4. Being ‘un-British ’. ✅

This is excellent.👇
It nails the pretence, that Rowling believes, that you can align with the worst kind of extremism, but still consider yourself to be ‘reasonable’, all because they share her single issue about trans ppl.
Rowling is very much in “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” camp.
And, instead of addressing the problem, the DHSC whitewash it with ‘patriotism’.

@marawilson.bsky.social You should try the Lorde version. It sounds like it should be a James Bond film theme!

So now we have a confession that that the so-called ‘investigation’ into the Tavistock was nothing more than a way to get it shut down.
Trans kids have died since then, because they can no longer get the healthcare they need.

The misogynist sc*m…
Nothing illustrates the arseholery of the IOC and the British Press more than the use of the image of a not-Trans woman to illustrate a story about trans women being banned (because there are no current trans women competing at this level)

Ask any GC transphobe and they’ll tell you hate is one sided; that it’s always trans people who instigate it.

This👇blows that lie out of the water.
These threats are grim, disgusting and unacceptable.

They’re really common among anti-trans obsessives.

Which is why they were banned so often from social networks. It wasn’t censorship, it was standards.

Removing those rules has only emboldened hate:

"As someone working in law, it’s heresy to say this, and it might even kill my chances of a career... But as a trans person, and someone fighting for the rights of my community, I refuse to remain silent. To me it just seems obvious: a heavily prejudiced society produces prejudiced institutions."
It’s no surprise that only 31% of trans people trust a legal system built to enforce prejudice, says Jess O’Thomson.

The EHRhas sent a new draft Code of Practice which would lead to the exclusion of trans people from public life.

The decision now is up to this government, will they sign a trans bathroom ban in secret?

Yep, THIS!

Transphobia overwhelmingly comes from mainstream media. Restricting phone use will have no effect at all on the transphobia coming from the BBC, Guardian, Mail, Murdoch Times, Telegraph, Express, New Statesman, Spectator, GB News, etc.
Locking phones up in school - the time when children are already LEAST likely to be on them - will do NOTHING to stop bullying, poor mental health, isolation, or radicalisation!

It will also have ZERO impact on the rabid transphobia that’s perpetuated through the mainstream media & politics! 😖

Guess it didn’t, Jo. 😏🤣

This overreach has the potential to fatally expose Gender Criticalism for what it *really* is, if enough cis women are publicly harassed because of the SC ruling and discrimination cases are brought.

But, but, but… if LGB Alliance aren’t transphobic, as they claim they’re not, why were they worried about being accused of transphobia? 🤔

Who had "biology is destiny, after all" on their feminist bingo card? The answer is "no one," because it's the complete antithesis of everything feminism stands for. And if that isn't obvious enough, just look at who's pushing it: every authoritarian fascist in the world, without exception.
As a cis woman I’m actually super stoked to uncouple the concept of fecundity from the concept of cis woman & given that feminism has been trying to do this exact thing for decades (centuries?) it’s baffling to see ‘feminists’ being like ‘no ACKTUALLY women ARE defined by their ability to reproduce’

When a gender critical journalist writes this, even though they may claim to be left wing, they’re telling you EXACTLY what they believe in!
And you should believe them.
"On contentious subjects such as slavery, colonialism and the Irish famine, eminent academics claim there has been a rewriting of history."

What exactly is contentious about slavery, colonialism and the Irish famine?
