Say it again LOUDER FOR THOSE IN THE BACK
No more cishet white men in any leadership roles for 50 years. Just as a palette cleanser. If they behave in the interim we'll consider letting them back in
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

“Disappeared” DO YOU HEAR YOURSELF
BlueSky is a bad site used by good people. That describes most social media sites. But BlueSky is egregiously unethical. Any of you can be disappeared for baseless reasons. I've been on social media for 17 years and never been suspended. BlueSky is the first place to do so – over Johnny Cash lyrics.

All news should be free. Those involved in the news should be paid well for their labor, but that actual content should be free and hyper accessible (so no ads or junk gunking up the means of access).

Access to the information is a human right.

What we consider serious must be redefined. 'Women's issues', like sexual abuse, are not actually considered serious. If they were, the world would be unrecognizable. Even though 'women's issues' are often the subtext of war, economies, politics and other subjects that are treated with gravity.
It all would have been much easier if, as would have happened if we were remotely a serious country, it all ended with the Access Hollywood interview.

This skoot gave me a hard-on
At this point we have to assume that if the Epstein files are released they will
- end the Trump Presidency
- implicate many other prominent Republicans
- destroy the careers of AG Bondi and his other defenders
This is beginning to feel like the greatest scandal in American history.
Trump has done enormous harm to the country.
He is a deeply corrupt and venal man.
He is wildly unpopular, his agenda more so. He's lost the consent of the governed.
He is old, infirm & clearly no longer mentally competent to run a nation.

It is time now to start talking about him moving on👇

This is your regular reminder that most men who sexually abuse children do not meet the clinical definition of a pedophile.

They simply want to abuse their power and no one is more vulnerable to abuse than a child.

There were no consequences — the most pubic offenders are sliming their way back to fame as we speak.

It went the other way, unsurprisingly, with Amber Heard (somehow?) taking the bulk of our collective punishment by proxy.
Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.

As reflected in today’s news, the rightwing basically feels there’s no way for a woman to exercise any of her innate sexual agency without it being A THREAT to them.
The only acceptable use of a woman’s sexuality is: if she’s being exploited against her will by people who have power over her.

It’s not just that Trump is personally a rapist, though there’s lots of credible evidence to suggest that he is. It’s that he is promoting a fundamentally pro-rape ideology, and that the permissiveness for rape and entitlement to rape that are core to his worldview are central to his appeal for men.

Just found BobbyBroccoli on there and I’m OBSESSED.

17 Pages, highly recommended.
One of the simplest but most powerful aspects of @nebula.tv is that it consistently serves our videos to the people that want to watch them.

That sounds basic.

But it feels (as both a creator and viewer) that YouTube struggles to do that these days.

Even Patreon's trying to build a "home feed".

From the Editorial Board: Fulton Market district — by most accounts the most economically vibrant neighborhood in Chicago and until very recently the hottest real estate market in town — has in the past two years stalled out in terms of growth.
Editorial: How Chicago’s white-hot Fulton Market district caught a chill
More than 20 major real estate projects in Fulton Market District long have had city approval but can’t get financing to break ground.

She won today's batch of 55,952 ballots by 10%; that's *more* than she needed to win the outstanding ballots by.

Over 50K ballots left to count in Seattle.
