every time I feel mad at myself for staying in bed until the afternoon on my days off, I consider how in high school, the bell rang at 7:15.

a hot take, but i think the rise of adhd/autism awareness and acceptance of "unmasking", despite the amount of good it's done, allows some people to write off rude behaviors and impoliteness as "oh im just autistic/adhd" when they're just rude and not about their autism/adhd at all
