Glad to see you are looking into this issue—especially now with people continuing to get Long COVID & ME each day and LC becoming the leading chronic condition among children. We are learning so much about how viruses can hijack the immune system for their own purposes in real time …

People use glue guns to fix lots of things. Now researchers have modified one to help fix broken bones. https://www.snexplores.org/article/glue-gun-heal-broken-bones?utm_source=hootsuite&utm_medium=bluesky&utm_campaign=snesnsocial
A modified glue gun squirts a material to help heal broken bones
The handheld printer might someday apply bone-repair patches directly onto fractures — complete with antibiotics to prevent infection.

Wasting a COUPLE OF BILLION of taxpayer dollars on a silly name change for a department that’s already bloated, wasteful, & can’t pass an audit is a fitting symbol of the Trump administration.

Reacting to the newly revealed messages where sex predator Jeffrey Epstein says Trump “knew about the girls” and had “spent hours” at his house with one of the victims, the White House is decrying “selectively released emails.”

Well then, easy fix: Release the damn Epstein files in full!

ICE agents in Chicago violently detain a non verbal autistic man for being “non compliant”

He couldn’t “comply” because of his disability…they don’t care

This is not the first time they’ve gone after a disabled person

They target the most vulnerable because it’s an easy way to meet their quota

Did you know gov shutdowns aren’t in the Constitution, any law, or Court ruling?
They exist because of a 1980 OLC memo—a lawyer’s opinion that everyone just went along with. Before 1980, funding gaps didn’t cause shutdowns.

What one memo created, another can undo. How the next D admin can undo it:
Why America’s Government Shutdowns Exist and How to End Them
One Legal Memo Created The Shutdown Era. Another Can End It.

Pope said 6-7
While details are unknown, Leo’s call for Cardinals to gather in Rome Jan 6-7 for Extraordinary Consistory is significant. Jan 6 marks end of Jubilee Year. Francis nor Benedict called zero such meetings. JP2 convened 6 Extraordinary Consistories; the first in 1979 to discuss his upcoming trip to US.

If your response to someone asking you about how C19/LC affect a topic you are presenting on is “we don’t have much research on C19/LC” please stop, admit you just don’t know the answer, and actively learn about C19 and its chronic effects.

Because 5+ years in we do know A LOT. You just don’t.

If you’ve been following the latest research on C19 and its effects, you’ll know this is actually a good thing 👀

It’s called term limits. Congress should have them.
November 6, 2025 at 2:43 PM
Congressional term limits, no pay during shutdowns. Overturn Citizens United/reform campaign finance. Raise the federal minimum wage. Ban insider trading by elected officials. Raise the SS pay cap.

All things Democrats could work on to preserve democracy long-term that most Americans support.
November 6, 2025 at 2:57 PM
But the latter is key. Dems need to run on actual policies that working class people care about and LEAD when they get power. Not just say “we aren’t the other guy” and keep status quo. All they have done the past few election cycles is to be anti-Trump (and nothing else).
The bizarre media narrative that Dems must choose between anti-Trump and affordability politics reflects a broad reluctance to accept that Trump is really unpopular. The way forward is a fusion of the two. They are often one and the same. 8/

The entire conversation around the minimum wage is framed as a question of entitlements or “handouts” when the issue is really this: of the value produced by a worker per hour, how much should employers be prevented from stealing?

I’ve taken metformin for LC for 2 yrs; it was the only thing my GP would prescribe from a list of possible research-backed treatments. I also took an increased dose for a recent reinfection; no baseline decrease. Thanks to @sweetsciencewriter.bsky.social @thesicktimes.org for a great piece! 👏👏👏
