Jay Bhattacharya's plan for a new pandemic is for everyone to suddenly be healthy.

There’s important scholarship to do here on how Francis used his tenure to shape the conclave that would elect Leo and create power that could resist specifically American fascism.

Francis cut people OFF to get to here. He shut people down. He sent them home. He put people in position.

People out here assaulting our sense of reality for 10k a month.
So I’ve had a very brief search of the Epstein database in the last half hour.

Noticed Epstein was paying for Google search result poisoning and attending hacker conferences

Group chat from a high school summer program circa 2002 just revved back up & I don’t know how to begin to explain to them what’s happened to me. I mean I do, but gd it’s a bummer. I guess I’ll wait until everyone is done sharing their adorable family pics before I kill the vibe 🫣

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

Please spread the word about this exciting #LongCovid trial that they’ve made super easy to participate in from home! The faster they get enough participants, the faster they can release results
There are LoCITT-T participants across 46 states & DC!

We currently do not have participants from:
North Dakota
South Dakota
Mississippi
Puerto Rico

Can you spread the word to anyone with LC there (or in any other, more generally underrepresented community):

I still believe Christine Blasey Ford and I still believe Anita Hill.
Jeffrey Epstein advised Steve Bannon that the lawyers representing Brett Kavanaugh in his confirmation hearing should accuse Christine Blasey Ford of being on medications that cause false memories or memory loss.

Happy birthday to legendary ME/CFS leader @wilhelminaj.bsky.social ! She has a small birthday ask after her decades fighting for all of us.
Today is my 78th birthday. When I first became ill in 1983, I was 33. I was 38 when I was diagnosed and attended my first support group meeting. Since then, I have worked with many wonderful people in the fight to make ME/CFS respected, funded, researched, understood, treated and, we hope, cured.

🚨 Are you in Melbourne, Victoria or another state & able to help someone in need? Please see Anna’s post below!

You wouldn’t just be an angel, you’d get lots back too… a new loyal friend & housemate, rent, income for a little care.

#Melbourne #MECFS #Homeshare #Carers #NEISvoid #MutualAid #HelpSky
Won’t someone take me in to escape #abuse?

Can pay a small rent/board, but you could get Carer Pension &/or Allowance if you provide some care.

Can provide meals & have care hours.

I don’t know why this is such a horrible arrangement - to rent a spare room.

This is important to know about—it’s a common Covid outcome! One of my many scary first year of #LongCovid symptoms was not being able to breathe almost any time I tried to eat. It would start a few bites in & I would gasp for air for the next two hours, my lungs refusing to open properly
So I try not to give too many gory details about life with long covid, but I also think it’s important to give a clear picture of what can happen to anyone.

Over the last yearish, I’ve become allergic to more than 70 foods. Today I lost soy. I’m not how long I can keep eating at all.

Oh wow, this system sounds bad not just for reading but for thinking in general. Seems like it would train your brain to not have to pay close attention to anything, & to feel falsely confident about being able to predict the future. A sort of magical thinking meets AI pattern recognition wasteland
ever since I learned about three-cueing I've developed infinitely more patience for replies on social media. mfers literally do not know how to read. people are walking around conjuring random meanings into words they don't know, and they don't know a lot of words. it's crazy

🧵on Disability Justice
Unfortunately, some folx are using the term "Disability Justice" as interchangeable with disability rights, disability inclusion, etc., which waters down the vital framework Sins Invalid champions, & fails those of us whose needs would have slipped through the cracks of disability rights work! 3/
