Hey, #MedSky.

For reasons that elude comprehension, too many drs still wrongly believe #MyalgicEncephalomyelitis isn’t potentially fatal when it’s very much just that.

Four more of us dead just in the past week.

For the love of god, please read the research and listen to your patients.

My building takes elevator maintenance really seriously and I love that about them. My last building had a broken elevator all the time.

Four people with #ME have died over the past few days,
it's devastating & deeply shocking that Eric Vanessa Jennifer & Samuel who should have had their whole lives ahead of them have died in this way in 2026
Until #ME & #LC are taken seriously this will keep happening

Really a stunning quote. Framing COVID is terms of individual risk has really cooked people’s brains because everyone is at risk.

I tend to assume that people who developed #ME/CFS recently got it from #COVID. I need to work on that.

It’s such a funny assumption because I didn’t get ME from COVID.

It’s still startling to see public health agency talking like this.
We don’t know who needs to hear this, but the flu is getting out of hand. And we needed to make a post about it. Here are our pretty direct thoughts, because sometimes our social media manager/infographic designer is tired & can’t think of a way to put it more gently. Please make good choices. (1/2)

Comic-Con fans, you have the power to get clean air at events that most celebrities don’t because of their “contractual restrictions, such as non‑disparagement clauses” that limit what they can publicly say about exposure or illness. You love their characters, protect them, YOU & all from viruses ✊😷

I was just thinking today that there should be a database of all of us who got COVID in 2020. They need to compare it to the general population. What are we dying from, and at what age? I feel like an hourglass that's running out of sand. ⏳🦠⏱️
And Covid is still causing millions more deaths thru heart attacks & strokes, and more slowly thru liver disease, organ damage, cancer etc—with no acknowledgment to their connection to Covid. Most people will never know as long as Public Health is muzzled by govts protecting economy instead of us 😷
Since 2020, at least 27 million people have perished from Covid-19, with the actual number probably being much higher.

When will it become normal in the service of public education for articles extolling the benefits of exercise for ‚everyone‘ to acknowledge that there is a group of people for whom exercise is detrimental?

My guess is never.

Long Covid friends—

A bill in the Maryland legislature would create an R&D fund for LC—a big deal when new federal funding is stalled.

The advocate behind the bill is asking for people anywhere to submit written testimony on Fri 2/6 on your experience w/LC, to say why this is needed!

Proponents of “body-mind” theories will usually defend themselves by saying that they think ME is a real illness and not purely psychological. And that’s exactly what the doctors starving Savannah are saying.

A South London hospital is still putting severe ME patient Savannah's life at risk and a clinician who psychologises ME might be why.

What do they mean by “This insight could reshape public health messaging for FUTURE pandemics.” The article repeatedly states that this information is to be saved for future health messaging—nothing that’s needed now. 😭

Good news - WorkSafeBC has announced that when the newest edition of CSA standard Z94.4 comes out, they’ll review it for future updates to BC’s workplace safety regulations.

This means we’re one step closer to getting up-to-date rules about workplace N95 use and airborne transmission into BC law!
ADVOCACY OPPORTUNITY: WorkSafeBC is revising some regulations, including its standard on respirators! However, it plans to use an outdated edition on N95s.
