2026. 6 years after the start of COVID. 6 years of Long Covid.

Not a single bit of progress has been made. Not even one. Nothing has been learned. The medical profession has not produced a single answer, solution, or even improved anything.

Still mass gaslighting and denial. Pure systemic failure.

Wishing every #pwME & #LongCovid, our allies & advocates the very best possible 2026
Thank you all so much for being here

The decades long neglect of #pwME is a great injustice and we are all poorer for it. I’m proud to be one of the 72 LibDem MPs who have fought to address this. And I know that I’m not alone in committing to continuing the fight to see real change in 2026.
December 22nd. Thank you for being #ThereForME, Sir Ed Davey & the Lib Dems @libdems.org.uk!

🧵PUBLIC HEALTH SHOULD NOT BE A CULTURE WAR

😷 It’s bizarre watching politicians, like Kemi Badenoch perform trauma around masks while millions live with the reality of not masking; death, disability, ME, Long Covid.

My reflections after today’s APPG ME meeting….

‘As we look to 2026, it’s clear that there’s plenty that needs MPs’ engagement. Across the ME community there’s so much shared lived experience and analysis to inform the work that we do. So, let’s get on with it! Let’s all work together next year!
