Where is our national press? The government has been shooting at and harassing clergy for months. This used to be a red line. The reality is their red line moved, not yours. They’re cowards.
ICE attacked an observer after they tailed a group of clergy on a spiritual pilgrimage.

Our digital producer @sam.vp just so happened to be with the clergy on their journey. He spoke with the observer who was attacked and others who witnessed the assault.

I wish I hadn't watched that video. I never watched the killing of Renee Good and hope I never have to. I don't need to see it to fight it.

Today at least four federal agents were beating a man and then one of them (I think) shot him point blank while he was on the ground. More agents present.

This is what 7 House Democrats voted with Republicans to fund. This is what Hakeem Jeffries didn't whip votes against. This is what Gavin Newsom said *wasn't* fascism.

Anyone who doesn't commit to abolishing ICE should lose their job.
ICE killed another Minneapolitan in cold blood
Initial report is that two observers got into a shoving match with eight agents, one observer was wrestled to the ground, and then an ICE agent pulled out a sidearm and shot the man on the ground five times.

Idk if anyone wonders why the US and the UN have such a hard on for fucking up Haiti's shit but if you are one of them please know it is revenge for managing to free themselves from slavery, an unforgivable act to the bitter petty white slaving pedophiles still running this world 100s of years later

Great reporting by @jeva.bsky.social that, along the way, illustrates how the language of abundance gets used to launder inequity, danger, and the vicious irony of externalized costs. Less energy-efficient buildings aren't cheaper - they just shift costs onto residents.

Something Marco Rubio points to often as a reason to deport or arrest campus protestors (he did it twice in this one press conference a few months ago) is "wearing a mask and terrorizing people" 🙃

One of the things about people showing up to protest for the first time, that many, many armchair theorists don't grasp, is the effect of seeing what happens with your own eyes, then seeing how media covers it, and what is said ABOUT YOU by media and political personalities/office holders.

"paid protestors" is one of the oldest propaganda tricks in the book (literally -- it was used around Civil War discourse, and to combat labor strikes in the early 1900s too). Journalists and TV anchors should push back on it whenever they hear it. drilled.media/news/ivy-lee

When a TV guest goes the predictable route of claiming they're "paid protestors," hosts must immediately ask if they have any proof.

When they sputter that they're guessing, ask if *they* were paid to come on TV and lie about it.

No? You're offended by that? Gosh, I'm just guessing here like you.
"You're seeing a lot of paid protesters" -- Rep. Mike Haridopolos's attempt to defend ICE's tactics in Minneapolis during a CNN panel discussion this morning did not go well. Bad used car salesman vibes.
