My mother requested a real ID twice and was denied. The second time I was with her and it was because her birth certificate is from Puerto Rico and included two surnames instead of the one maiden name listed on her marriage certificate. This policy will systematically disenfranchise women.
I do not have a realID drivers license because it was too much of a pain to find all of the required documents. I can vote b/c I have a passport, but realID drivers licenses are not negligible trouble to get.

Yeah, this is pretty much exactly what I thought about when I saw Musk's stupid racist tweet: Minnesotans have spent the last month and a half saying we will die to defend our multicultural community.
It's also part of a very direct negation of the latest stupid tweet by Musk: people have given so much, two of them their lives, to defend a multicultural city and the rights of people not exactly like them. And that multiculturalism is American culture.

I've had to take bullshit from customers with a smile for MY ENTIRE SERVICE CAREER and was almost never allowed to draw boundaries or turn anyone away, but the AI gets to have boundaries???
I JUST HAD A DOCTOR CONSULT CANCELLED BECAUSE I WAS RUDE TO THEIR AI INTAKE SOFTWARE. (I called it a "stupid computer.") I hate EVERYTHING
