My best friend’s wife kicked him out. I have been dreading this conversation where I tell him that he will lose his entire life if he doesn’t stop drinking, but I have to have it because I 100% agree with her for doing it.

I have always wanted to start a neighborhood Baseketball league, but I live in the country and my only friends are my wife and my dog.
If the NBA wanted to get serious about reviving the all-star weekend they need to have a Baseketball tournament instead of the actual all-star game.

Found out today from a colleague that one of my coworkers was mad that I wore this shirt because if she isn’t allowed to talk to students about her faith I shouldn’t be allowed to “indoctrinate children” by wearing this shirt. Apparently saying we should accept all kids is indoctrination now lol.

I thought I was pretty much done with the GoT universe after the final season of the original series, but on a whim I started “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” and it’s so damn endearing because the actors they got for Dunc and Egg are just perfect for the characters.

In the concentration camp universe, this is what's known as a filtration camp. A government preemptively takes a whole class of people to interrogate and detain extrajudicially in order to inflict duress on them while arbitrarily assessing their (supposed) culpability.
This is a truly horrifying memo. It says that the policy of the US government will now be to proactively seek out and arrest likely tens of thousands of refugees who entered legally under Biden and subject them to detention, where they will be interrogated about their status.
