"Narratives are not merely the words people choose to use. They are the stories that frame how societies understand the world."

Patrick Gathara & @benphillips76.bsky.social explore 🔟 ways to challenge existing narratives and foster a new story for humanitarianism’s future: buff.ly/nEPBoO6
Ten ways to build a new narrative for humanitarianism

Huge fundamental problem, the trickle down is damned up and it almost always has been without strong unions.
Not sure if this is the Wall Street Journal decrying this (unlikely), celebrating this (more likely), or enabling investors to bet on this (most likely), but it is very definitely admitting this:

An aid worker killed. An aid worker from the Red Cross. Hussein is the most recent of the more than 500 Palestinians killed since the “Ceasefire”. The total number of people punished for these killings is: 0.
📍 Gaza | We share our heartfelt condolences to the family, colleagues, and friends of Hussein Hasan Hussein Al-Sumairy, who was killed today while providing emergency medical service in Khan Yunis.

Medical personnel and humanitarian workers must be able to carry out their work safely.

When it keeps happening, we must surely see that it is an alarming sign of an economy, a politics and a society that we have allowed to be badly rewired. We must and we can do better than this.
Yet another Forbes 30 under 30 charged with multi-million dollar fraud. It’s getting impossible to keep up. Ten points if you can name the full rogue’s gallery. I am pretty sure I am missing out some of them.

It has to be about more than just one man(delson). The point cannot only be the end of the career of the individual, Mandelson. This (tenth?) scandal has exposed not just Mandelson (and not even just Mandelson’s political and power-broker circle) but Mandelson-ism.
