East coaster now in beautiful Utah. Pfp is late, lamented Toby. Although he thought he was a dog, he was the best cat ever.

The Mormons love to hold up the example of Helmuth Hübener—the youngest member of the resistance sentenced to death—but gloss over that he was excommunicated by local, Nazi-supporting, leaders for it. He had more backbone than the entire "obey the law of the land" church.

The NYC Marriage Bureau really is a special place. The one marriage ceremony I've attended there was only a few minutes long, but the officiant (a retired judge, I think?) made it feel unrushed and meaningful. I've loved all my visits! It's the best for people-watching.
Everyone in the world comes to get married at the NYC Marriage Bureau. Last week, the Mayor stopped by to officiate a few of those ceremonies.

Thank you to all the couples who shared their joy with us. Happy Valentine's Day, New York.

if he just asked each of those CEOs to donate $1 million to a rent fund, we would be able keep people housed

but no we will get a concert and merch and more dramatic portraits of jacob
We don’t need a celebration we need to abolish ICE and get justice for those murdered and for those whose rights have been violated and return our neighbors. Reminder the Roman Colosseum was a propaganda machine that enforced hierarchy and was a distraction from living standards. Stay focused MPLS.

UTAH FRIENDS: I'm looking for forward-thinking people interested in serving on Springville's Utility Board.

If you know someone in Springville who might be a good fit please help me connect with them! They don't need to have an infrastructure background (though it is a plus).

It's not a new observation at this point but that wild Noem/Lewandowski story in WSJ really brings home the extent to which all the Trump 2 cabinet-level goblins see their jobs as flying private, doing short-form video, and screaming at underlings. They all hate each other and none of them can read.
