Sorry, but Blinding Lights isn't on the radio and you aren't getting us to fight for your propaganda videos.
Enrique Tarrio is indeed here and currently chatting it up with honey badger. They also walked over here together from down the block

‘I was living day by day:’ Portland woman detained by immigration authorities for 4 months getting back on her feet
For Jackie Merlos, reuniting with her four young children has been bittersweet because her husband is now thousands of miles away in Honduras.

The weirdest thing about this discourse is that states with shorter school closures have the same amount of learning loss! I keep waiting for all the punditry on this to catch up with basic facts
Every time Covid and learning loss hits the news, people act like the only factor is folk staying home and learning online, rather than… Living through a global mass death event.

And the fact that Bluesky isn’t participating is just proof it’s Twitter 2.0 - politely ignoring things deemed too shocking to repeat. Which is how we got here in the first place.

In Trump 1 they just did a better job covering up their bias in favor of the administration.

But a lot of us noticed how often they'd blare Bill Barr's lies (the summary ahead of the report that said the opposite) and quietly correct them in a way no one noticed, later.
something I find very telling is the attitude among normie dems these days

in Trump 1.0, the Times was the center of the “resistance” - often fueling with the Post for what felt like daily scoops

in Trump 2.0, the paper’s disinterest in actual adversarial reporting is noticeable and people are mad
I think there are a number of people employed at the New York Times -- certainly not all of them, but many! -- who simply do not grasp how badly the paper's credibility has been shaken over the past few years, along several different axes, and for multiple different reasons

Merrick garland is the fuckup of a lifetime. He better not ever stick his head out in public life because no one finds him credible
The horrifying emails coming from the Estate (and not the DOJ) made me think about something else. Merrick Garland had access to all the Epstein Files and I'm sure he knows what's in them and he could've gone after Trump for that in addition to J6 but he didn't. Garland protected pedos.

And yet, after he was fired for ethical lapses they didn’t conduct a review. I don’t buy it.
Okay, I'm about to block this woman, but for people who in *good faith* don't understand this, a work email does not mean your employer is reading your communications, and in newsrooms it *very much* does not mean that for source protection and liability reasons.

No [drawn-in comma] new wars!
I was told "no new wars"
Per @jenniferjjacobs.bsky.social, DOD presented Trump with plans for strikes in Venezuela yesterday, including on the ground. Astonishing to see the U.S. on the brink of another regime-change invasion with essentially none of the pre-2003 effort to rationalize it domestically and internationally.

Absolutely everything the @nytimes.com published over the last decade makes more sense if you see their mission as providing as much palatability and plausible deniability for the far right wing as they can while maintaining their liberal-ish reader base.

The NYT has a running feed on the Epstien story... not even a hair's breath of copy about their own role in this ongoing atrocity.
I don't think legacy media is reading the room correctly on the Epstein Files. Many of us are asking why they have ignored this story for the last decade? Why did they dismiss all of us who were concerned that Trump might be compromised? And where is their fucking contrition and apology now?

While they put Trump calling for Constitution's "termination" on page 15 and his chief of staff's "tyrant" warning on 12

Christopher Rufo openly bragged about the plans:
Chris Rufo "a total product of right-wing affirmative action and you literally would never have heard of him if he was a liberal"
