I’m on the scene at Franklin and 1st. A convoy of about a couple dozen ICE/HSI agents broke the entryway into an apartment building at 6am. No warrant presented. Less than 24 hours ago, Tom Homan announced the end of large convoys in Minnesota… Bullshit.

There was an abduction in front of my apartment this morning. Afterwards, a Hennepin County Sheriff car drove by. Around 10-15 of us screamed at them for help, seeking assistance with the abandoned, window-smashed car. Some ran after them. They continued driving. 😑

Even my grandparents’ & mom’s tiny little precinct in Itasca County/district 3A, (about as far north and outstate as it gets), approved an Abolish ICE resolution. Mom says 8 other precincts that they know of up there passed it too. They had more people attend than ever. We’re gonna win.

I think one of the reasons folks have such a spectacularly bad time at caucuses is because people sell it to newcomers as fun, folksy neighborhood-level politics. People come in with (largely) miscalibrated expectations & so are even more disappointed.

People keep saying "Getting arrested is bad, actually" and while I'd certainly prefer not to be, the administration's entire strategy is built around the idea that I will live in fear of it, and shape my behavior to avoid it, and cry in shame if I am. That is how THEY CONTROL YOU.

I’d love to hear ideas about how people are speaking to each other in RR chats when the information sent is not appropriate or not a SALUTE. Is DMing the sender appropriate? 🧹 are not working for me and responding in the chat seems like it may perpetuate the problem. Not sure what’s most effective.
We all gotta keep each other honest in this stuff. Our nervous systems are really out of whack right now. We are likely to slip up, say something unvetted, or get in fights we don't want to.
