as I've remarked before, Google is now considerably worse with this stuff than Baidu was in the 2010s, when it caused massive scandals and regulatory reform in China
"guestreservations dot com" is the worst site, they make a subdomain for every hotel so it's like name-of-hotel[.]guestreservations[.]com and they buy google ads so that they come up as the first result when you search for that hotel's name, and you mistakenly think it's the hotel's official website

The worst death I ever was involved in was a previously healthy child who was otherwise immunized.
No one was antivax, family just hadn’t gotten around to getting the flu vaccine that year.

The worst part though was the aftermath. The insurrectionists were in our own workplace. Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz would be walking around as if nothing ever happened.
