In between the devaluation of Russia’s Yuan-based reserves and falling oil prices, the one country exempt from tariffs may well end up among the biggest losers.
China has begun devaluing the yuan against the dollar to soften the blow to the economy from US tariffs. China promises to fight US tariffs "to the end". Btw, russia keeps its reserves in yuan.

This is big: House Republicans tucked language into the budget res “rule” that bans the House from voting to terminate Trump’s emergency declaration used to impose tariffs. TL;DR lawmakers who vote for this are officially giving up their power to revoke his tariffs until October.

It's really important to remember that this attack on libraries is part (a big part!) of the fascist attack on our country. Steve Bannon actually saw book banning as a leverage point for conservative activism. If books are important to you, maybe this is your lane in the fight.
