Utah's taking a page from the Florida book and trying to do the same thing (with the bonus of trying to shove Rated Books into being required for use to decide on collection materials).

There are as many ways to support as there are to act. From maintaining spreadsheets & databases, to writing alt-text, to running a social media account (Hi!) and all of them count. Everyone can do something & everything that someone can do is valuable...

4. Support. Do you love kids? Volunteer to babysit for a meeting or rally so more people can attend. Do you love to cook? Make food for events & meetings. Got a car? Volunteer to drive. Tons of people would take more actions if they just had a little more support & you can provide it...

3. Organize. Individual actions are great, but organized actions are powerful. If you're good at planning events, networking, building & maintaining relationships, managing resources, you can be an organizer. Reach out to an organization already doing the work to see where you might fit...

2. Act. Attend school board & city council meetings, attend rallies, contact your elected representatives, write op eds & letters to the editor, make candidate scorecards, knock on doors, etc. We need lots of boots on the ground in lots of different places...
