This is how you shift your schedule to land humans on the Mars and beat whoever the Big Bad is in this new space race with the Moon nuke or whatever we’re doing now

If you want the Moon nuke in 4 years, why do this? I’m ambivalent wrt the Moon nuke - there are pros & cons. This is just dumb tho

A good summary of today's Minibus Package from #Congress #Appropriations (both sides) includes for #NASA. I have not had time to parse the Minibus myself as of yet, but will provide additional detail, particularly in terms of #heliophysics impacts, in a follow up post.

Minibus provides $24.4 billion for NASA for fiscal year 2026
House and Senate appropriators have released the text of a spending bill that largely rejects the steep cuts the Trump administration proposed for NASA.

Elon is GLEEFULLY enabling the exploitation of children and the harassment and abuse of women. It's clear that Musk is behind the constant push to make Grok an increasingly disgusting vector for this kind of behavior. If elected leaders won't hold him accountable, we will. #TeslaTakedown

Funding cuts to critical research, staff reductions at agencies, political interference & disinformation are eroding public trust in decades of peer-reviewed science. How can we respond to this challenging moment? Here's some inspiration by Allie Cashel from @protectdemocracy.org.

They had no reason to be deployed to DC.
Except that’s what everyone on the right was doing before we learned it was the Trump admin that granted him asylum - and most are still doing it. If only Republicans would blame the shooters more often instead of trying to use deranged acts by individuals for political gain.
