I was interviewed for this piece—one thing that didn’t make it into it that I want to note: there’s been a lot of attention on the battle for press freedom here in LA—but as I’ve noted, this isn’t just a press rights fight, but a fight for the 1st amendment protections of all Angelenos

Last Thanksgiving, two Dallas Police officers knocked on my door, citing a tip from the FBI national threat operations center that I was beating my girlfriend. The incident report confirms this. Today, I obtained a file from the FBI via FOIA that states the FBI has no record of receiving such a tip.

I really appreciate Dr Jetelina’s informative threads. 🦠😷

Anecdotally - I have a few of friends who’ve been sick with “something” that lasts 2 weeks. Some in the Bay Area and some in SoCal.
1/ Hey, epidemiologist here 👋

I've been seeing a lot of concern as we enter flu season, so I want to do a quick breakdown of what's going on with #H3N2, the flu strain everyone's been talking about, how it’s mutating, and the best ways you can protect yourself. 🧵

“Marketed for kids 3-12, Kumma gave step-by-step instructions on a common “knot for beginners” who want to tie up their partner. Another time, the AI explored the idea of introducing spanking into a sexually-charged teacher-student dynamic, which is obviously ghoulishly inappropriate for young kids”
