I truly intended this just as an email and not a public thing but fuck it we ball. The New York Times is not alone in its culpability but it is deeply culpable and its near-monopoly status in our blighted American media ecosystem allows it to do what it does.

It is really telling that billionaires have enough to buy anything they want and the thing they want is fascism.
I think the combination of endless wealth, crushing boredom, and spending every day in a fascist online paradise makes billionaires more dangerous than they’ve ever been
They’re all so rich, so bored, and so stupid. It’s a very deadly combination for everybody around them.

JUST IN: Seems crazy that Epstein files could be biggest test of Trump's 2nd 1st year as president but does now seem possible, even likely. Trump basically comes out against his #MAGA base, tells them to stop making such a fuss. Same gambit failed when Trump's underlings tried it

So am I reading this court decision correctly? We now have 50 micronations with their own laws interpreting the U.S. Constitution wholly separate from one another? But there's one guy with private law enforcement who is immune from all punishment who can do whatever he wants in those 50 states?
