I’m still mad. This unintelligent, deeply vapid, bovine podcast discussion is an insult to the existing (powerful, often brilliant, complex, challenging and nimble) canon of feminist works critiquing contemporary capitalism.
You’ve read nothing. We can see clearly that you’ve read nothing.

As long as you are leaning into the fascist zeitgeist, it seems that you too can be invited on a New York Times podcast to espouse your utterly vacuous and historically and politically illiterate views on feminism.

Due to these changes only the party in power will know in advance when an election will be called which puts all other parties at a huge disadvantage. Another wound inflicted on Ontario's democracy by Dung Ford and the Conservative party.
FFS! This is how democracy dies and kleptocracies take over. As I said on the OShow while Ford talks tough about Trump he sure acts like him 🤬🤬🤬🤬 youtu.be/JXRFfs-2SSQ?si…#Onpolil#cndpolili

All renters in Ontario should be very, very worried about this and begin mobilizing to oppose it immediately.
This will effectively end all rent control and allow landlords to evict tenants at will.

In particular, they want leases to no longer necessarily remain in effect indefinitely, so that landlords have more options for creating tenant turnover.

Likely because the drivers couldn't hear transit control above the level of noise inside the cars. Why no journalists are investigating this issue is wild to me. I've heard about it from people at both Metrolinx and the TTC.
Easier to haw haw at yet another delay than actually investigate I guess

Well done, Metrolinx and TTC. Two trains on an empty, not-yet-in-service transit system managed to collide.

I'm pretty sure the "stone war club" is being displayed upside down. And also that it's a dildo.
At the Canadian War Museum, some of the oldest artifacts date back thousands of years.
Used by the Indigenous Peoples, there is a stone knife from Alberta that dates back 8,500 years, a stone war club from British Columbia and a stone axe head from Manitoba.

It hasn't opened due to noise. LRT cars create noise, especially at higher speeds. Noise is amplified in the tunnel sections by reverberation. LRT cars designed for surface transit are not as soundproofed as subway cars. DB levels inside cars will exceed acceptable limits. Or they'll be really slow.
Provincial transit agency Metrolinx is hoping the years-delayed Eglinton Crosstown LRT will enter its final major testing phase this week, a move that could put it on course to open around the start of November. #OnPoli #Topoli
