The second edition of my introductory piece on the PATRIOT system is now public. I have once again put a lot of effort into this and added the necessary graphics, so go grab a copy (it is free!) and enjoy!.

The thing that scares me the most is how RW parties here (in the Nordics) swing around the sword of denaturalization. It is something that will always hang above your neck as a naturalized citizen. Despite the claims of it being something used in extraordinary cases, they want threshold lowered.

Just read the piece you sent out on JUMPSEAT, It was a wonderful read! On the pains of writing about SBIRS, I agree. I am not sure if you are familiar AIRSS. The story of that system, which came about due to the SBIRS delays, is far more interesting in my opinion than SBIRS itself.

It is unfortunate that Twitter remains a more appealing platform when it comes to certain areas of OSINT/defense journalism/think tank analysis and even some tech stuff. So many people haven't made the commitment here yet.

This shit tastes so good for how simple it was. I am never buying bread again.

I have always hated the idea of buying bread when I knew in reality many bread recipes were dead simple. So this year I decided I will change this.

The recipe was very simple: youtu.be/OZiTD7iQ_0E
It was basically 450 grams of flour, 10 grams salt, 11 grams instant yeast, and 360 grams of warm water. You are supposed to cook it in Dutch oven but I dont have that, hence the sides aren't fully browned.

I believe these were the IR sensors mentioned in America's Space Sentinels. Really cool to actually see them!

This bit on the Mormons had me whizzing in the middle of the night. The book is "The shield of faith a chronicle of strategic defense from zeppelins to Star Wars"

Ever since reading up on Rebecca Slayton's Arguments That Count book, I have wondered what all the behind the scenes drama of the MIT Nerds and PSAC was. This book seems to answer this drama in a level of detail I have never seen before. It is also funny as hell.

Indeed, this is just stupid. The time for action was missed because they were busy diverting vessels to do their stupid shit and killing civilians in SOUTHCOM.

Every other day we seem to be sliding back into a closed off Europe. Russia this, Russia that, why don't we put money behind Ukraine and annihilate their Army on the battlefield and get rid of this problem?
