There’s almost certainly something like a “pardon me or I talk” deal in place and also a “I’ve given all the details to several other people should I accidentally kill myself” notice.

If you were expecting an outcry from the press and M$M about the latest rounds of Trump pardons. You will be greeted by a big media yawn.
That’s where we are: undermining the rule of law, spitting on the work of juries, abusing Presidential power, starving folks & depriving them of basic healthcare.

Republicans have destroyed health care in our country. Millions will go without care, and people will die. Yet again, Republicans have shown their priorities begin and end with helping billionaires. Americans won't forget it the next time they go to the polls.
UPDATE: The Senate votes 53-47 to shoot down the Baldwin amendment to extend ACA funds for 1 year. A party-line vote with every Republican rejecting it.
An important vote in this series: Tammy Baldwin’s proposal to extend ACA expiring funds for 1 year. It’s structured as a motion to table (i.e. scrap it from the amendment tree). But it’ll show the appetite (or lack thereof) in the Senate to address this issue.

This is a big deal.
The Trump regime is ruining America’s most valuable alliances and international partnerships.

The level of trust needed to do high level intelligence sharing is rare, and Five Eyes cooperation has been a major asset.

The US chose to throw it away, harming its own power and security. And for what?

This is total word salad as one expects from Bessent. The truth is that in recent years the Exchange Stabilization Fund has been used only to provide dollar-based loans to other countries. What Bessent/Trump did was buy Argentinian pesos with US dollars, exposing US taxpayers to Arg currency risk.
MSNBC: How does a $20b bailout of Argentina help Americans?

BESSENT: Do you know what a swap line is? Why would you call it a bailout? The US government made money

Vance shares a strange immunity with Trump.

The press cannot or will not pierce through his rhetoric to see the what-should-be-obvious danger of the man.

This includes:
1. Vance follows lots of neo-Nazis on X
2. His championing of Germany's far right
3. HE'S WELCOMING HITLER LOVERS INTO THE GOP
JD Vance now leads the GOP. And he wants the party to welcome Hitler lovers.
And the press refuses to reckon with what this means.

People just like to say the word. "Fil-i-bus-ter!"
It’s insane to treat the filibuster as the most sacrosanct.

Article 1 power of the purse, oversight, and war? Nah.

Emoluments clauses? Bribery prohibition? Meh.

Criminal law? 14A? Doesn’t count.

But maybe the Senate changes a rule it has multiple times before? Gasp! Not that. Anything but that.

Please give to my dear friend Tasneem so she can feed and take care of her children. And to others if you can. ❤️🙏

Honestly, "but Bond died in the last movie" is just...every new actor has been a new Bond, a fresh start. If you want to do the obsessive continuity thing, you do that within that actor's run. I'd have thought anyone immersed in 007 movies would realize this

I love the fact that James Bond is owned by a parent company that routinely ignores the endings of their stories in subsequent fiction.

Disney turned out acres of comics in which Snow White still lived with the dwarfs, Bambi was still a fawn, and Pinocchio was still a puppet. A happy puppet.
