So the grocery store wastes 32% of those perishable products that they could process and sell for profit.
Imagine what that does to grocery prices...
Seems like instead of processing to juice or dried goods they just toss it and pass the cost of the loss on to:

Maybe we all need to VOTE BETTER? the provinces make these decisions. YET WE VOTE CONSERVATIVES INTO POWER. WHO IS DOING THIS? CONSERVATIVES? If you look into the history, the majority of these shit ideas were conservative ideas and policy. Yet the voters keep voting for cons in every province.
