It also seems fairly straightforward that attacking a treaty partner without Congressional approval is treason and everyone down to the lowliest private involved should be court martialed or tried.
Anyway, I will just reiterate:
If it should come to pass that America commits the ultimate perfidy, then it is the duty of every patriotic American to undertake every active and passive measure to frustrate the American war effort, and to assist NATO forces in whatever capacity they require

I guess we’re about to see if the Republicans would rather go to war with Europe than stand up to Donald Trump.
Treaties are federal law. As a signatory to the 1949 NATO treaty, the U.S. is barred by law from attacking another NATO member. Therefore, an order to draw up plans to attack Greenland is an illegal one. Military leaders are obligated to disobey illegal orders.
