I decided to use today to reset my caffeine intake, which peak and the availability of soda at home have made especially high of late.
To say that I am struggling would be an understatement of gargantuan proportion.

If Dems talked like this regularly, we wouldn't have to focus on "how to win close elections in difficult environments." We would have a lot fewer close elections, and a lot fewer difficult environments.

Again, it’s worth pointing out that the supposed mission of most of these people is to “preserve western civilization” and “promote christian morals”, and yet at every turn their actions and rhetoric show that they don’t give a shit about either, and actually have profound contempt for both.
This is basically the view of the world that Plato sets out to refute in the Republic. One of the core questions asked therein is: why do powerful people think the mere fact of them exercising dominion makes it good for them to do so? Sure, you *can* get away with stuff if you're powerful - so what?
