Because in a democracy it is your only way. If the public hates your guts and you’re about to lose an election authoritarianism is your only option to cling to power. That It’s not a stable long-term strategy doesn’t really enter into that calculus
How is it that so many people think that authoritarianism is a way to bypass completely public opinion?

After over 2 years, they managed to track down a never used D1 play head and have been able to recover all 4 seasons at pixel accurate quality. What a great story.

After over 2 years, they managed to track down a never used D1 play head and have been able to recover all 4 seasons at pixel accurate quality. What a great story.
