I was thinking how when Scott Adams was about to go and rightwingers were saying “you have no idea what impact it’s going to have when Scott Adams dies, he was loved by millions” and then he just died and nothing happened. These ghouls just disappear when they stop talking
Remember when Charlie Kirk got shot and the right was like "THIS IS CIVIL WAR!" and three weeks later he was completely forgotten about? That's going to be most all the rest of these assholes too

1. no you didn't, you retconning fucks

2. your decades of anti-governance "free market" "government never functions" propaganda paved the way for the complete authoritarian decimation of labor, consumer, environmental protections

“Libertarians are like house cats, they’re convinced of their fierce independence while dependent on a system they don’t appreciate or understand.”
It is mostly a philosophy for people who like to scold others, but cannot be bothered building a damn thing.

That Coinbase Superbowl ad is the most desperate thing I've ever seen a company do. Absolute edge-of-collapse behavior.

The common fundamental concept behind all of these ads is they're designed to piss me off

Remember, Epstein won't read your dyslexia jokes but your friends with dyslexia probably won't either
“Don’t make fun of Epstein’s writing, he may have been dyslexic” is 2017-tier. Not even Woke 1.0. Pre-release Woke.

Woke before it was a minimum viable product.
Never forget — everyone is fighting a battle you can't see

I only became aware of this Peanuts page in the past few years. I think if you asked me for my top five pages of comics, this would have to be on there.

Even without the added context of Schulz's imminent passing, that final line hits like a truck.
Here's the full comic, from January 2, 2000. It was the last strip that featured Peppermint Patty, arguably Peanuts greatest character. Schulz died six weeks after it was published. It's perfection.

Epstein Files Reveal How Pathetic Richard Dawkins & Other Men Are
Transcript: Well, it happened again. I’m mentioned in the Epstein files. Again. You probably saw my first video on this topic and you came away thinking that I’ve spent the past decade being as awe…

at the center of modern right wing is a ravenous nihilism that preaches to its aspirants that the ultimate aspiration in life is to rape a literal hole into the center of the universe if it means you will be remembered.

They took my advice. The newest episode is a new episode of DS9 and it's great
There's been a lot of bad Star Trek over the years, there's been some decisions here to lean into that vibe. I feel like we should have just kept making DS9 and never stopped doing that

worth noting that the second rich people stopped being afraid of mobs tearing them limb from limb, they stopped building libraries and opera houses and stuff and started ripping the copper wiring out of the walls of society instead

A lot of people are choosing to miss the point here which is not “Every problem is super easy to solve and democrats refuse to do it” but that when there *is* a simple solution they will insist it’s much more complicated and the simple solution is impossible.
Dem leadership: changing this is a difficult process, you fool. You rube. You utter infant. Give us between $5 and $50
