If you need to step away from the onslaught of horrors for a moment may I suggest watching the first episode of Mystery Cuddlers? We wanted to make a sweet silly show. I think you'll like it!

This only makes sense if you live in a small medieval peasant village of a few dozen people, cut off from civilization. You have a limited pool of applicants. I get it. It starts to make less sense as you add millions more potential candidates to that pool

In a nutshell, this is it. They will try to destroy any leftist takeover, like they did with Bernie, even if this means more power to the GOP. *Nothing* that Trump has done (ICE, Cecot, tariffs, USAID, frivolous prosecutions of Trump oponents, even the murder of the Hortmans) matters to them.
Schumer and his friends want Trump to have power because they hate you. They are furious Mamdani won in a landslide and are afraid of repeats all over the country. Their solution is open capitulation to the far right.

agreeing to make a terrible deal while your main opponent is quite literally being boo'd on live tv by an entire stadium of people is the kind of political instinct you'd normally only find in a 3 week old dead goldfish

If you believe that Dem leadership is fighting for you, ask them what they did when the Supreme Court took away the human rights of 50% of the nation, when two thirds of Americans disagreed with the Court’s decision, and we had the presidency. More than 3 years later. Ask how they’ve fought.

Hard to look at all the facts and not come to the conclusion that Dems are losing on purpose. I'm trying to be charitable but there's just nothing else coming to mind

Anyway a great way to radicalize people is for them to realize that you just abandoned their chance at being able to access and afford health care because you didn’t like waiting in line at the airport.

Cornell Alumni affairs office in NYC is 212-351-7660 if you're an alum and want to tell them what you think.

Since Cornell is also a land grand institution and partly statutory you might want to give Hochul a call as well.
