is this the one that wins
One interesting thing about the movie White Christmas is that by the end of the movie they’ve saved the Inn but the Haynes sisters still have an active warrant in Florida. This means there’s room for an action-oriented sequel, starring any two of those actresses that all look like Margot Robbie

There were two peanut butter “churros” in Indy’s stocking. Once he finished eating the one in the video below, he tried to bring the other one to me but he got stuck and couldn’t figure out how to get through

holy shit I’ve seen the Muppet Christmas Carol 2,000 times but this is the first time I’ve noticed this sound effect, which my husband noticed and we’ve watched on repeat 8 times and are crying laughing

My husband thinks he hates musicals but he knows every word to Muppet Christmas Carol and sings along happily and was excited to put it on tonight so I think the problem is that he saw the greatest musical of all time and now he thinks all of them should be this good

I’ll probably make a video on this in the new year but until then, please follow and support Robin. He’s funny, clever, and kind, and his life is being upended because he supports trans lives & he lives on TERF island.
Can’t get to sleep, not because I’m thinking about Santa, but by thoughts that my final Monkey Cage is on in ten hours and I am troubled by putting together what led to my departure and why I felt I had to resign - deeply frustrated
Despite the title of this week’s @bigissue.com column , it is more about my love of Manchester than resigning from Monkey Cage - but here it is

“no cheeses for us meeces” is a line that is used in our home frequently and year round. Tonight we honor it.

“Slow news week” the President of the United States was credibly accused of murdering a baby but sure
Bari Weiss just sent this Christmas Eve email to the CBS News staff about "building trust," which includes her tripling down on spiking the CECOT piece "to make sure it's comprehensive and fair."

One CBS staffer tells me: "She really has no idea how insulting she comes across."

As is tradition, I’m posting the final shot for this year’s holiday cards now that they’re all in the mail! I accidentally caught Indy with the final supermoon of 2025 rising behind him as he romped around Oakland’s Knowland Park. Happy Christmas Eve! More on insta:

This year marked the first time the AI avatar of a victim—in this case, a dead man—has ever addressed a court, and it raises many questions about the use of this type of technology in future court proceedings.

Checking in on social media for a second. Ah, President Trump once helped kill and dispose of a newborn baby. I see. Okay, back to wrapping rawhide bones to put in my dog's stocking I guess

I'm so glad that years ago I gave up trying to make sure I'm understood by as many people as possible, and just decided that my audience would find me. Literacy rates are in the toilet. The only winning move is not to play www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJi6...

I love that twitter nazis pretended the left was upset about Clinton being in the files and it turns out not even Clinton cares. I like to think someone had a chat with him and it was like "everyone already knows you're a fucking creep. this is your last chance to look good before you die"
Bill Clinton releasing a statement saying 'release the Epstein files, you cowards' was not on my bingo list.

It’s hard for me to pick my favorite Xmas movie bc there are so many sub-categories: nostalgia, comedy, action…but tonight’s is at the top of most lists, including non-xmas.

ICYMI bc I made this live pretty late yesterday. I’ve yet to find a single “save the children” social media ban that isn’t just a sneaky way for big corporations to make more money, usually while violating our privacy and making us all less safe.

Yesterday I was texting with a friend and mentioned Hebrew Hammer but she'd never heard of it, so I tried to find where it was streaming. Reader: it has BEEN DISAPPEARED!!! Apparently they tried to make a sequel where he kills Hitler & it never happened. This is antisemitic.
