I know you people with wild turkeys hate them but I LOVE a belligerent bird and am endlessly disappointed that they aren’t in western Washington. I want a bird that forces me to call in sick because it won’t stop fighting my car.

I am a little tired of being yelled at for this but apparently not tired about: heroin addiction is not RFK’s problem. He’s a sociopath. Most addicts aren’t. Honestly, walk into an NA meeting, grab the first person with a few years to be head of HHS and they’d probably do a better job than Bobby.
This is what happens when you put a privileged, 14 year heroin addict in charge of health. Duh

I can’t beat anyone’s ass (tennis elbow, carpal tunnel), but I’d make a good effort to do so in this situation
Just saw someone claim that authors who want to be paid for their work are "class traitors" because we "only let the wealthy" read our books, and I think I need to go into the woods to scream into the night for a bit.

Most publishers (there are always exceptions) decide whether or not to buy a second book (or a third etc) based on how the previous book did. So when you pirate a book in most cases it’s less about the money you just stole from both author and publisher it’s about the future book you just killed.

I work at a library and just put in a request for one of the NPR best books of the year, and I probably request at least one book a month. It’s easy. Don’t be a pirate, authors aren’t rich.
