Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.

Compared to someone like Gwen, I haven’t spent nearly as much time monitoring Nazis. It’s alarming how quick that shit will poison you and also desensitize you to some really horrible things.
Same goes for monitoring war/genocide footage.

No one should EVER monitor Nazi space without a strong support network that can check them regularly and watch for signs that the propaganda is taking hold, and address that reality promptly.

This is I think also one of the reasons you (you as in a regular person) shouldn't got into nazi places to try and 'debate' them (or worse, to hang out and check the vibe. I know somebody who radicalized a lot after doing that to neo-nazi metal concerts (not the only reason he radicalized)).

I’m very, very careful in how I handle that history *because* the playbook that was first used in GG is still active & aimed at folks like me — not because I teach & study games, but because I’m a professor at all.
