A childhood friend studied int’l relations and ended up in a class with Steven Miller in undergrad at Duke. ~10 years ago as Miller was coming into the national limelight, my friend wrote a piece about how much he absolutely creeped him out…not just horrible vibes but everything he said in class.
This is his obsession. He has been a virulent xenophobe since he was in high school. The violence in Minneapolis and around the country by ICE is Steven Miller's doing. He must go. NOW. This is the basic fundamental requirement at this point to stop this.

Among the many, many other things that are so awful about this story, I hope this woman has lots and lots and lots of support and help and will continue to have it for a long time. Because this is incredibly traumatizing, I’m sure, and it will take time to address just on that level.
