I was recommended a recent-ish horror novel, a best seller, and it was execrable. Like Dan Brown levels of garbage.
I struggled through half of it thinking “this is so obvious and dumb it must be a fake out” and suffered through the rest to make certain it wasn’t a fake out.
It was TERRIBLE.

I think it’s pretty definitively clear that extreme wealth corresponds to psychopathy, not intelligence.
