Here the story about my ban and why conflating HRT with GAHT is anti-trans and harmful
There are many misperceptions about taking testosterone — including among trans men — but the small amount Jules Sherred takes does not translate to bulging biceps. Those are the result of many hours of training, he said.

Not calling out the OP here.

Just giving info:

Dosing guidelines do exist. When the article states my dose is tightly regulated and monitored (I get monthly bloodwork), trust

WADA is very clear about this, as well as the science
There are some legit concerns about "TUE doping" (which aren't new or specific to trans athletes... see longstanding controversies about asthma inhaler & thyroid med use!), but this seems like it could be easily addressed by developing some dosing regs instead of denying TUE use outright.

In other news, today on the elliptical, I paced at just over 1 mi every 10 minutes for 80 minutes. That's with baseline resistance and adding after each chorus (I "run" to the rhythm of music) before going back to baseline with new song. I could've kept going. Something is not right with me lol

I am genuinely very annoyed that people act like we're not being banned from sports. Trans men have NEVER been allowed to freely compete in men's categories.

This is fact in all cases. And many sports orgs won't issue the TUE if you started prior to taking up the sport. And if they do issue it, it's with conditions that cant be met like random morning testing with mandatory low T levels which doesn't work that way with exogenous T
And in some cases (maybe all? idk, I research this stuff loosely) a trans man cannot start testosterone without permission if he is already competing. If he does, that’s punished.

Hey all: please know that authors always welcome positive reviews of their books. Word of mouth is the number on driver of sales. You dont need to ask permission. Sharing the review with the author is even better!

Hey Millennials in your late 30s! I have question simply based in curiosity around language use!

Background: there is podcaster who uses "I mean" as filler words. Theres never anything following those words to denote what they may be thinking on the topic. It usually precedes a question.

Normal?

I hate this headline. A much better headline would read, "Calisthenics are making a comeback. Here's why body weight is enough to get a good workout"

It's not Global's fault. It's a shitty AP article

You won't find dumbbells or weight machines in the gym Sean Keogh runs. At Calisthenics Club Houston, it's all about training with body weight.
