I can finally announce, a feature-length documentary about my accomplishments as an activist, writer and athlete is in production for the CBC titled FABULOUS BODY OF MINE.

It's been a minute since a dr saw my mobility chair and made an assumption about my level of physical activity*. Did he ever get an earful when he told me I may want to consider resistance training to avoid clots in the future.
*they are now trained to ask how often does someone need to use a chair

As someone with chronic illness and chronic pain who _always_ tries to convince myself I dont need emergency care and it _always_ turns out to be emergent, I simply need to say:
Always seek care immediately if something is feels different or is "off."

Back at the hospital, waiting for my emergency ultrasound and then back to the ED for results and care plan. And just super extra thankful for Canadian health care and the only extra thing I have to worry about right now is showing up on time

I think there's lots of ways the Heated Rivalry girlies can show solidarity with queer men other than fantasizing that the show will end homophobia in professional sports. The most obvious one, to me, is supporting queer men who write m/m.

I meeting a friend this morning who is out visiting from Ontario and I'm glad they are understanding cos I'm a mess LOL
