I’ve seen a lot of hand wringing about the dangers of going to No Kings protests and gently, I want to tell people to chill a little. These are permitted marches and the point is to be out there and seen en masse. Please don’t scare off people who are maybe going to their very first protest

wow I wonder if the cops who lied about the sitting senator even though everything they did was on tape are also being less than honest about the presence of violent agitators at the protests in los angeles. they might even not have told the entire truth about other protests

@captmarkkelly.bsky.social As your constituent, I am demanding your action. You and your fellow senators need to halt all other senate business until this has been addressed and the agents who unlawfully assaulted Senator Padilla have been brought to justice and removed from their jobs.

I’m a cancer survivor. The people who talk about cancer as if it’s a punishment for past wrongdoings can jump into a lake.
Hey just a reminder that no one deserves illness for anything they have or haven’t done, because illness is a fact of life not divine punishment for sin. Let’s take a few deep breaths, yeah?

Again, if you've got a Republican representing you in Congress -- and I don't care who it is -- call them to complain about the tariffs. They're panicking.
Heard Ron Johnson - extremely Trumpy senator - on NPR this morning and even he couldn't defend the tariffs. The most generous thing he could bring himself to say was "I have concerns" and "we'll see what happens." You can bet that privately Republicans are freaking out.

i think booker would agree with me when i say the takeaway here isn’t “dems are finally stepping up! we’re saved!” it’s that big things are possible when we, the people, unite and demand action.

-Ruben Gallego putting a hold on VA nominees over cuts to veterans care
-Adam Schiff putting a hold on Ed Martin's nomination for DC US attorney over... a lot

it is VERY important that anyone who lives in wisconsin votes for crawford for wisconsin supreme court on april 1st. wisconsin is only just starting to recover from the damage of the scott walker era and this would help solidify a new era in the state
Musk is now way over $20 million deep into his attempt to buy Wisconsin's Supreme Court. The direct effects of Wisconsin's majority will be enormous. But there's now another huge question at play: can Musk buy whatever election he wants? If Crawford wins, his perceived political power collapses.
