there have been a lot of responses to this arguing that young Republicans were motivated by such feelings but didn't express them openly

1/ I worked at DoD. I literally cannot imagine lawyers coming up with a legal basis for lethal strike of suspected Venezuelan drug boat.

In my view, conversations about the deleterious effects of generative AI should be focused, almost entirely, on the fact that AI entities profit from training data they neither paid for nor have consent to use. I think every other argument against it is weak by comparison.
