New vid covering Rival Schools' JP ps1 port exclusive school sim mode, that lets you romance the cast. I think it's notable cuz it was Capcom tapping into a casual fandom market for fighting games, and for also letting you date the same sex!... and adults... Enjoy!

the 1993 movie sandlot was set in 1962 so if it were made today with the same offset it'd be set in 1995, 2 years after the movie's release. pretty wild right. ok bear with me this next one is even better. the 1994 movie clerks was set in 1994, so if that movie was made today it would be set in 2026

It could be really bad for Discord if Californians contact the office of the Attorney General to report the potential violations of CCPA and CALOPPA citing the recent breach from a few months back where 1.5tb of user data and millions of IDs were leaked, but who can say for sure?

A really excellent, detailed review, that's more explicit about just how much stuff *hasn't* made it into this remake - including the Murder at Cafe Alps sidestory, as well as the sidestory where Kiryu emphasises with a transwoman's struggles
Review: Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is a remake built on disdain, not reverence, looking to fix a game that wasn’t broken, and ending up with little to show for itself.

Squirrel with a Gun is one of the stupidest games I've ever played. Controls are wacky. Gunplay feels lacking. Graphics are so-so. Lots of the usual Unreal Engine problems. Pop-in everywhere. Not enough bullets. Great music. Weird humor.

australia has already had this and there are countless articles and studies about how worthless it is. no politicians actually want to do any real work about safeguarding minors online, they just like the shiny tech that maybe makes them poll better with parents who don't know better
