Glad that there are now specific documented reasons to dislike Geoff Keighley so I no longer have to maintain my longstanding inexplicable distaste for the man.

Raises an interesting question: what was the last commercial game to support PC speaker sound?
DOOM on PC Speaker/Beeper for sound is a vibe all of its own.

One aspect of the Sega Saturn's identity that I feel is often ignored by western fans is the huge popularity of "gal games" on the system. There is a reason Sega created a title like Sakura Wars at the time, as the ratio of gal games being released on the Saturn was twice as large as the PS1. 🧵

I'm still being asked about it, so here goes:
I'm referring to mobile games by Fountainhead Entertainment/id Mobile between 2005 and 2010. All simple, but fun Dungeon Crawler-style games:
- Doom RPG
- Orcs & Elves
- Orcs & Elves II
- Wolfenstein RPG
- Doom II RPG

Seriously, there need to be more of these Dungeon Crawler-lite games than the five titles John Carmack produced.
