I have not done enough poking around to know if it’s a trend, but I note that this flag store is back-ordered for the new Minnesota flag. Random clicking suggests it is the only flag there that is back-ordered.

The majority of organizing happening in Minnesota isn’t just peaceful, it’s INVISIBLE. Moms showing up who won’t be interviewed on TV, people whose ICE patrols don’t turn into viral video. The grocery runs, the donations, the people filming bc they happen to be there. Please remember this.

Jason Chavez has been doing incredible work during the ICE occupation. I cannot stress enough how much it means to see and feel like a local official is actually doing something about the evil being visited upon us right now. We needed more than words and he stepped up.
The Phillips neighborhoods are being targeted because it has the highest percent of residents who are not US Citizens. This fund will help feed, provide basic necessities and allow our immigrant neighbors to stay housed for 65+ families (and counting).

THIS is why you have columnists. You'll never ever hear anything like this in the @startribune.com because it's owned by a right wing Republican politician billionaire
The senseless murder of Alex Pretti is finally showing everyday folks that the Trump regime is beyond any redemption. And in an anti-religious age, it's sparked a quest for a new American morality

It's beyond politics now. This is about good vs. evil

A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.

Correct and I think this is finally starting to break through: people taking action in Minneapolis are not, in most cases, "protesters"
We are observers, not protestors. We show up to document and film the atrocities ICE is committing. Using 5 year olds as bait. Kidnapping senior citizens. Breaking down doors without warrants. Murdering poets and nurses. Media has all of that information because *observers* were there to document it

Not that we don’t protest too — we do — but Renee Good and Alex Pretti (and those who witnessed and documented their executions) were legally observing ICE kidnappings and alerting their neighbors to ICE presence. It’s not a protest, it’s a public service. It’s how we’re protecting our neighbors.

I am seeing quite a few nurses calling for a nationwide strike over the killing of Alex Pretti. I think we are seeing one of the largest workforces being radicalized before our very eyes.

"Observer" feels too neutral for what people are doing in Minnesota. They are witnesses.

They're consciously bearing witness to crimes against their neighbors. As witnesses, they are providing evidence to present and future governments that can prosecute crimes. They deserve witness protection.
