fwiw, I think the best way to think of this is not really as "trump is the worst ever" so much as "trump takes all the worst aspects of american history and speed runs them all at once"
Every American should be ashamed of who we are and what we have become as a nation today. We have a long history of military misadventures and even crimes but the attacks we have been conducting on Venezuela are among the most wanton, egregious and least defensible acts we’ve ever conducted.

Seems like there are two possibilities here: Either the Nobel peace prize lady who said trillions of dollars are to be made privatizing Venezuela's state-run companies OR that there is a Network State thing going on with the billionair oligarchs who were salivating over Greenland.

Sen Mike Lee with the first account I’ve seen of the Admin’s legal theory for the strikes. On the domestic law side — something like: Art II law enforcement power to capture Maduro (by invading his own country) combined with Art II power to protect those personnel executing the warrant.
