Can we get a strong statement on this @zackpolanski.bsky.social, show people there is another way, another choice.

I think trans people could do with hearing someone vocally standing up today.

Thanks.
Labour's Manifesto promised to ban conversion therapy. But I defy anyone to explain how, looking at the totality of its policy platform, Labour's real policy is anything other than promoting desistance.
Labour continues to troll the trans community - and to prioritise pleasing the right wing press. We know Hilary Cass was selected for her transphobic views: Kemi Badenoch told us exactly that.

So why is she running trans policy for Labour?

THIS - cis people, if you're going to talk about The Tavistock, make sure you listen to trans people and our supporters first about what it was actually like.
What’s worse is that there are grounds for a scandal:

A scandal about delay, care that was massively behind what was clinical indicated and justified and all the trans kids harmed by the invasive and creepy processes.

The exact opposite of what we got.

The best headline I have seen on this in a major paper:

metro.co.uk/2026/02/13/t...
Trans children ‘will lose any hope of happiness’ under school gender guidance
'Trans children need to be supported and respected.'

One of the purest examples of a moral panic in our time. A clinic that had years-long waitlists and required an average of 7 appointments before providing transition care smeared and shut down for being reckless.

will we see a single person or organisation involved in this widespread campaign of falsehood admit to their error or even correct the inaccuracy in their output going forward?

It's actually good & cool for ostensibly apolitical spaces & voices to announce that they are against repression & for liberation! ✊✨

Anyone telling you otherwise, who "just wants to enjoy [X] without politics", is only doing so because either they don't mind the horrors or they're FOR them.
There's this autistic guy on tiktok, and his special interest is Dracula.

He's done 100s of videos on, and as, Dracula.

That's his thing. That's his gimmick. Very wholesome. Very charming.

He has also become one of the most vocally anti-ice people on the internet.

If he can do it.

can’t wait for us to return to fighting the trans rights battles we were fighting in like 2016, which will still be there, waiting to be fought, when all this wankery is over and done with

it's a good thing girls like Brianna won't be allowed on social media any more, otherwise there would be a risk that a Labour MP might be faced with the consequences of their actions
brianna ghey wouldn't be allowed to express herself at all under @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social's section 28.

Hard to move away from the idea that the UK government would prefer trans people to just kill themselves so they don't have to pay for a trial and jail for murderers.

Me: I want Democrats who plan to run for president to openly declare their support for full trans rights. This is my one requirement in order for me to consider voting for them.

Weird centrists: YOU SHOULD BE QUIET AND VOTE FOR WHICHEVER CANDIDATE HAS A D BY THEIR NAME NO MATTER WHERE THEY STAND

Labour’s vote is collapsing everywhere.

In Peterborough last night, as in Gorton and Denton, voting Green is the only way to stop Reform.
Fletton & Woodston (Peterborough) Council By-Election Result:

➡️ RFM: 29.4% (New)
🌍 GRN: 27.6% (+16.2)
🌳 CON: 21.8% (-11.8)
🌹 LAB: 16.8% (-31.2)
🔶 LDM: 4.4% (-0.7)

No TUSC (-1.9) as previous.

Reform GAIN from Labour.
Changes w/ 2024.

They really just out there like its Now allowed to be trans in school while in reality over here its always been allowed cause its not an issue and this guidance is actually overtly restricting it in a way it just was not before
Mail -"LABOUR last night opened the door to primary school children changing their gender....But the Government’s guidance has scrapped the ban, instead saying those as young as four should be allowed ‘full social transition’ to the opposite gender, albeit in ‘rare’ circumstances."

TRANNIES STILL NOT WIPED OUT: WHAT GIVES???
You all saw the guidance that went out yesterday for trans kids in schools. Absolutely horrific stuff.

This is how the right wing papers are covering that news. Times, Mail and Telegraph all have it on their front page, the first two as their main story of the day.

Guardian's coverage included

Do you "hate being trans" or do you hate being trans in a profoundly transphobic society that makes it difficult to just exist as a trans person?

There are times when you see a few GCs, like Jane Clare Jones, being aware that Gender Criticalism has been instrumental in destroying women’s rights and creating the authoritarian society.
But there are many more that are still in denial.

Most charitable reading of this (and it is VERY charitable) is that she's having to read out the party line while trying to make it clear that she, personally, supports trans rights. However, if you claim to support trans rights and are a member of the Labour party, you're either a liar or ignorant.
Angeliki Stogia (Labour). Angeliki broadly performed well, but she felt very hemmed in by her government's record. When questioned about trans rights, for instance, she stated that the Labour Party would always stand against transphobia and that they couldn't just change the supreme court decision
