(what I assume is the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade taping message:)

"Wow what a year, huh? We yanked Jimmy Kimmel off the air, permanently closed Muppet*Vision 3D, and AI-sloppified our IP! So now more than ever, the time is now to . . .

Come Crawling Back To Disney™ (you know you wanna!)"

John Williams, writing the score to Home Alone: so it's primarily a slapstick comedy about a stranded child outwitting and injuring two burglars? Better compose some of the most heartachingly beautiful and wistful music I'll ever write for it!

Just learned a friend that welcomed my partner and me to the music scene in PDX died suddenly. Young guy.

The grief just keeps coming in waves. I'm gonna make a hot toddy, go out and look at Christmas lights, and process.

It’s been a year and I haven’t received much closure. There was never a funeral to my knowledge, and Altadena was on fire and inaccessible a few weeks later. Brad’s housemates tried to write me out of his will, and when they didn’t get the house, took off with almost everything from his property.
I have so many questions and so few answers right now, but what I know for sure is that I love you Brad, and I know you love me too. (He’d laugh if he knew how far into my camera roll I had to go to find a pic of him fully clothed!)

Fyi PNW folks we are on the doorstep of the next big storm front. Extreme high winds + saturated soils means lots of trees down and power outages.
Make sure your devices and flashlights are charged and you have loose objects put away or tied down.
Be prepared. Please stay safe. 🌲

It kills me that the only place to really get a good look at the west side skyline is that curvy I-5 to 84 flyover. I wish it was for pedestrians instead of cars.
Look at the central city riverfront of Portland. It's just so shocking and embarrassing that we tolerate this.
