It’s so fucked up that despite 40/50 states (including mine) plus DC having medical cannabis, our country’s official federal policy is to force people with chronic mental and physical conditions to quit taking prescribed medication just because they want a job.

For anyone who like me was wondering, this is an article from the Austin American-Statesman. The change lowers the lifetime borrowing cap by half ($200k to $100k) and the yearly cap by about 60% ($50k to $20.5k). It's a lot.

The last time I’ve had to pass an employment drug test was 1995.
I have no idea if my MN medical cannabis card gives me any protection from out of state employer screening. Gonna be a long few weeks with no prescribed depression or anxiety medication.
